Pecs Drag Kings
Pecs Drag Kings is an all-female/non-binary theatre company who’ve created critically acclaimed shows for the LGBTQ+ community since 2013. Our drag king cabarets explore gender identities, politics & sexuality- to create cultural space for queer women, trans* & non-binary folk. Our shows are sexy, raucous & highly entertaining, using songs, dances & comedy to celebrate inclusivity, queerness & community.

I started my Pecs journey in 2016, joining them as a producer From here with the rest of the core team I've lead them through numerous full scale shows, gigs, festival appearances and workshops. In 2017 our smash hit Pecs: The 80s show sold out legendary East-End LGBTQ Pub The Glory before transferring and selling-out Soho Theatre downstairs.

Our current work-in-progress SEX SEX, MEN MEN is being developed in association with the Yard Theatre and is Arts Council England funded.

SEX SEX, MEN MEN
SEX SEX MEN MEN is a show about sex and a show about men.
A departure from our usual style of cabaret this piece pushes the boundaries of cabaret, performance art and theatre.
This transgressive material challenges audiences’ expectations of queer desire & sexuality on stage.

Developed with support from The Yard and Arts Council England.

The 80s show was created as a direct response to the political upheaval and the rise of the severe right-wing of 2016, drawing comparisons between the 1980s and today while also celebrating the incredible queer pop icons of the 80s we lost in that year.
