FATTY FAT FAT

Ever feel like your body takes up too much space in a world that doesn't want to make any room? Katie is fat. Pretty much always been fat, and will be fat forever.

FATTY FAT FAT is a funny, frank and provocative solo show about

FAT SUMMIT

As part of an ongoing commitment to using FATTY FAT FAT as a platform for Fat Activism, we launched the FAT SUMMIT, a paid opportunity for fat folks to create community and to use the show as a platform for their own activism.

We held the first meeting on 29th February 2020 at the Southbank Centre- you can watch a short film we made about it below.

And now we're calling another FAT SUMMIT - you're invited to a conversation about all things FAT!

Led by Katie Greenall, creator of FATTY FAT FAT,  the FAT SUMMIT is a place for fat folk and their allies to come together, discuss fat activism and create a network of fat folks across the UK.

Join us to make fat friends,

make thin enemies and tell fatphobia to f*ck off!

BLUBBER

'If I had my life again, I would want to be a synchronised swimmer. I don’t have my life again, but I can learn to synchronised swim.’

Katie is on a voyage to prove that they can be graceful.

But perhaps she already is.

She’s taken up synchronised swimming and it’s a lot harder than they thought - but she's buoyant, beautiful even. Turns out lots of the things Katie thought to be true about her body aren’t. Turns out, there’s a whole bunch of people just like them. There’s lots to unlearn.

Join Katie as she brings you what she’s learnt about her fat body, its community and its history in a journey through synchronised swimming, live music and whales.

BLUBBER is still in development and is Directed by Rafaella Marcus Sound by Anna Clock, Movement by Jenni Jackson and Video by Al Orange. BLUBBER is supported by Arts Depot & Arts Council England.
